  12. 1." Halloween" comes from "All Hallows' Eve", which is the day before " All Saints' Day" or " All Hallows' Day". The name " All Saints' Day" was made up by the Christians to also participate in the pagan Celtic festival " Samhain" but in a more Christian way.

  17. 1. It was related to All Saint's Day where they honored the dead faithful and people killed because of their beliefs.
    2. Jack O Lanterns were originally made out of turnips.
    3. Samhainophobia is the fear of Halloween.
    4. People would "prank" people if they didn't give them a treat. Thus forming the saying "Trick or Treat". They would also try to drive away the dead because it was believed that this was the day where the line between the live and dead was the thinnest.
    5. I think that people will walk up to houses and yell trick or treat as always, but instead of the house owner coming to give you candy there will be a robot that reacts to hearing “Trick or treat!”. People will find a way to exploit that though and get all of the candy. I think this because we have already made so much progress with robots and it’s only a matter of time before the robots take over everything.
