  1. I think that this commercial uses pathos. I think this because they show a lot of emotion. In every scene, both Wane and his dad show that they are happy and they look that they are having lots of fun. When wane gets the autograph it makes his day and that's how Tim Horton changed his life. His dad also made the ice rink in his back yard to watch Wane play hockey, not to make him a better player. The commercial ends by showing that getting something from Tim Horton's or going there will make you day or could possibly even change your life.

  2. This advertisement seems to use pathos. You think it might be ethos, but the vibe of the advertisement makes you a little emotional. The flashbacks of him practicing bring you to the days of when Wayne was little, like you actually saw those moments. When Tim Horton signed a napkin for Wayne and the Wayne leaves with his mother with a smile on his face. Also when Wayne's dad picked up the box and opened it with his shaking hands makes it sad since you get reminded that no one lives forever. Them showing the time Wayne playing his last game made it even more sad, especially when they showed a snippet of him tearing up. To finished it all off, the music they had in the background made it nostalgic and sad. Therefore, I think this advertisement is pathos.

  3. In my own opinion it is pathos because of the music, the music was calming and made your heart melt. It set a scene for the commercial. It put more of an impact that an old signature from Tim Horton can still affect the great Wayne gretzky. It also could be ethos because a young hockey player like me would want to go to Tim Hortons to get something there just to be like the famous hockey player Wayne gretzky. It could also affect the older audience because maybe they grew up watching Wayne gretzky so they might want to support him and get Tim Horton.
